A KSBL MBA develops your leadership potential and equips you with the knowledge and skills required to lead both in Pakistan and the region. You learn from some of the most internationally accomplished faculty members as they deliver a leading-edge curriculum, challenging you in the classroom and tasking you to apply and deliver real-time solutions in the real world.
Programme Overview The KSBL MBA is a full-time 22 month programme consisting of eight, seven week terms. There is one intake per year and the programme commences in September with a compulsory three-week Foundations term.
Curriculum The KSBL curriculum, designed in collaboration with Cambridge University's Judge Business School, prepares you to create and lead sustainable organisations in a complex and rapidly changing world. In addition to building a solid foundation in core business functions, the KSBL MBA substantively integrates ethics components into all classes, helping to shape global ethical leaders.
Experiential Learning
At KSBL, we believe in taking a 'learning by doing' approach, which is why your education takes place both in the classroom as well as in the field. Through individual and group project courses, real-world small enterprise business consulting courses, mentorship with CEOs and Senior Executives and an internship, KSBL students are provided with multiple opportunities to apply theories learned, and to test concepts introduced, in the classroom. Advanced instructional technology tools allow real-time learning from faculty and CEOs from around the world.
Student Organisations As a KSBL MBA you are afforded multiple opportunities for participating in co-curricular student organisations such as the Finance Club, Marketing Club, Entrepreneurship Club and others that you or your classmates envision.
Career Services & Placement KSBL Career Services and Placement team helps you achieve top career success from the MBA programme. Our relationships and reputation within the business community will help assure that MBA students are exposed to an extensive range of placement opportunities for internships and at graduations. Career Fairs & Employer Events will bring together highly sought after employers to meet and recruit KSBL graduates. Admissions & Financial Assistance At KSBL, admission into the MBA programme is based solely on merit. KSBL believes in nurturing the talented youth of Pakistan. We have adopted a NEED BLIND admissions policy. This means that every application for admission is evaluated only on the basis of academic merit and personal abilities, independent of the applicant's financial status and capability to pay. Once admission is offered, the financial aid office at KSBL then reviews the applicant's financial status and structures a financial assistance package suitable to the applicant's requirements. The assistance may consist of Interest Free Loans, Qarz-e-Hasna, Work-Study Scholarships, Teaching and Research Assistantships amongst others.
KSBL'S MBA admissions will begin in January, 2013.
